Lisa Pacheco

She joined the club at the height of the pandemic, in the summer of 2020. Despite the challenges the club was dealing with at the time, they lived up to their motto, and managed to stay active. They proved to Lisa that they were who they claimed to be. She feels at home amongst like-minded people in Rotary, many of them committed to serving the community for decades. She aspires to be like them. 

During her time in Rotary, Lisa has been active in the planning of their annual fundraiser, Cowabunga. In 2021, she took on the role of Solicitation Chairperson for the event, and she acted as the Event Coordinator in 2022. Presently, she is the Event Coordinator for 2023. She also spearheaded solicitations in 2022 and acted as the Silent Auction Basket Chairperson. She is taking on the same role this year. Lisa loves the challenge of solicitating donations; she gets a thrill from getting things from businesses to serve a good cause. She also enjoys putting the baskets together in a creative way. Lisa became a board member this year, and she is looking forward to being more actively involved in the club. She says, "Being a Rotarian brings her a lot of fulfillment and joy!"
